Privacy — what we never share
Plain-language summary · last updated June 2026
Who sees what, at each stage
Every suggestion is private on both sides. Before both sides say yes, the other family sees only your Basic details — community, age, city, and similar — never your name, photo, or contact details. Those unlock only after a mutual yes. Fields you mark Shadchan-only (health, finances notes, and anything you choose) are visible only to your shadchanim — never to the other side, at any stage. This is enforced by the system itself, not by policy alone.
Photos
Photos are never public and never appear in browsing or search. They are shown only where the rules above allow, and we continue to tighten how photos are stored and served so a link can't travel further than it should.
What we never do
- We never sell your information, to anyone, for any purpose.
- We never show your profile to anyone browsing — there is no public directory.
- We never share your decisions or reasons with the other side.
Your controls
In Settings you can pause your visibility, choose exactly which shadchanim may work with you, change each field's privacy tier, export everything we hold about you, or delete your account entirely — any time, no questions asked.
We use your email for sign-in codes and the notifications you choose in Settings — nothing else.
Questions? Speak with your shadchan or reach out through the contact details in your welcome email.
