How a sponsorship works
You choose an amount
$30 a month is one full Search plan. Pick more to cover more singles, or less and the office pools it with other sponsors.
The office matches it
Named someone? We find their file and upgrade it. Left it open? We give it to a single on the free plan who is active, vetted, and waiting.
They get real suggestions
A sponsored single gets the same weekly matched suggestions, shadchan attention and follow-up as every paying member — for as long as you keep sponsoring.
Can I sponsor someone who isn't signed up yet?
Yes. Put their name and a way to reach them (or a parent) in the note. The office will invite them to set up a file, discreetly, and apply your sponsorship once it exists.
Will they know it was me?
Not unless you tell us to say so. By default a sponsored single just sees their plan upgraded. If you'd like them to know, say so in the note.
What happens if they get engaged?
Mazel tov — that's the point. We'll email you and, unless you say otherwise, move your sponsorship to the next single who needs it. You can also change the amount or cancel any time on the manage page — we email you a code, no password.
Is this a donation?
No — it's a purchase of a membership on someone else's behalf, billed monthly until you cancel. Sponsorships are not tax-deductible.
